Unveiling the Official Poster of the 4th Tongyeong International Film Festival

Under a boundless blue sea, the landscape of Tongyeong unfolds.
We are pleased to unveil the official poster of the 4th Tongyeong International Film Festival.
This year's official poster features the work Tongyeong Landscape, created by the late artist Kim Jae-sin, a native of Tongyeong.
Kim Jae-sin, who passed away last October, was known for his distinctive technique of layering multiple colors onto wood panels, then carving and scraping away the surface with a chisel to reveal the colors beneath — a method through which he captured the sea and scenery of Tongyeong in his own singular palette. The depth and richness of Tongyeong's landscape, shaped by its waves, shimmering light, islands, and sea, are fully embodied in his work.
Kim Jae-sin's work also graced the official poster of the 1st Tongyeong Film Festival, receiving widespread acclaim at the time. To feature his work once again this year is to honor an artist who portrayed the sea of Tongyeong as only he could, and to carry his art and vision forward through the festival.
In Tongyeong, where the sea becomes film, and art becomes story once more — its fourth chapter now begins.
