Tongyeong International Film Festival (the “Festival”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws. This website, in principle, does not directly collect or store users’ personal information.

1. Items & Methods of Collection

Merely visiting or browsing this website collects no personal information. However, ticket reservations, film submissions, and volunteer applications are handled through Google Forms (an external service), where the information you enter (e.g., name, contact, email) is collected.

2. Purpose of Use

Collected information is used only for reservation confirmation and seating guidance, submission/volunteer processing and notifications, and festival-related communication.

3. Outsourcing of Processing

The Festival uses Google Forms (Google LLC) to receive reservations and applications. Entered information is stored and managed on Google’s servers, and Google’s privacy policy also applies.

4. Retention Period

Collected information is destroyed without delay after its purpose is achieved or after the relevant edition of the Festival ends, except where retention is required by law.

5. Provision to Third Parties

The Festival does not provide users’ personal information to third parties, except as required by law or upon a lawful request from investigative authorities.

6. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal information. To correct or delete information submitted via Google Forms, please contact the office below.

7. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for visitor tracking or advertising. It only uses a session cookie to maintain admin login and browser storage (localStorage) for the popup “don’t show today” feature, neither of which identifies individuals.
