Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, a shepherd named Akif lost his young daughter. He is convinced that on that day she was abducted by aliens from the edge of a cliff. After hearing his story, the villagers begin to think he is crazy and make fun of him. Even his wife does not believe him. Despite this, Akif refuses to give up hope. For many years, he sends signals into the sky, trying to make contact with the aliens and bring his daughter back. Just when he is about to lose faith, an unexpected guest visits his home.

Rafig HAJIYEV

Rafig Hajiyev was born on July 20, 1980, in Baku. He is a director, producer, screenwriter, post-production and VFX supervisor. From an early age, he was interested in music, cinema, and video production. Since 2000, he has worked in the music industry as a producer and sound engineer, collaborating with artists from the Azerbaijani music scene. He later moved into the film industry, working in post-production, visual effects, and cinematography. In 2008, he was among the first to introduce a new-generation digital cinema camera to Azerbaijan. In 2017, he began developing “Project 2602,” one of Azerbaijan’s first modern feature-length science-fiction film projects, completing the screenplay in 2020. The project attracted international attention and generated interest from Hollywood producers and industry professionals. He currently works as a VFX supervisor on a historical television series and is developing a new feature film in the adventure-drama genre. He is the founder and CEO of Marshal LLC.
